  • I received a 452VL from my father in law that he assured me works. I was skeptical so I poured in some fresh gas mix and I'll be damned the thing started right up, Not only that but I just got through cutting 8 cords of wood with it. I beats the hell out of the newer Sears Crapsman that I had before that I took to the dump. One thing I noticed is that the chain oiler oils the hell out of the chain even when adjusted low. Couldnt be happier with the saw.

  • that is a early to mid 80s saw ive got a 702vl and 3 452vl its most likely early 80s cause the newer saws that model have a hand guard on the top handle
