Your car sounds awesome! I just bought a 1.25" Sway bar from a late 70s trans am and bolted it on my 70 Chevelle. It made a world of difference in the handling...even though I cheaped out and reused the original bushings. If you haven't already upgraded your sway bar, you may want to try it out.
