I love the scene in which Bonnie Franklin's character takes her purse from over her shoulder. Very sexy and sohpisticated! Also, the video has a lot of beautful shots of her bosoms! You got a lovely pair Bonnie!
This is very creative. Here's a suggestion for another montage: Trace examples of Valerie's hair evolution. I am fascinated at how it got increasingly thick and layered between the 78-79 season and the 81-82 season.
I think the original season one opening was supposed to look sort of like a home movie. I love this custom intro - great work! Where did you find that font?
@snoopy64116 Yes, hence the word "custom." I thought everybody would know it was fan-made. Same with Glenn Scarpelli. Thought "Season 1" would mean that he wouldn't be in there. LOL
First i have to say : nice effort!................however you left out GLENN SCARPELLI and since you did you lost all credibility with me. Im sick of seeing hacks not give mr SCARPELLI his due. Glenn made that show, and he was robbed out of it in 83' when they were going to change it to "glenns place" featuring him and shneider as roomates. He was told we already have bosom buddies! once again GLENN SCARPELLI gets it in the ass! Glenn was th greatest ever to grace prime time!
Wow this is fantastic! So much in keeping with the spirit of the show. You should have been around in 1975 to create this opening! LOL. I never really cared for the Season 1 credits because the lighting was too dark and depressing and at the end when they enter the apartment it looked like it was shot on very cheap film stock. This one is so similar in tone to the official Season 2 credits but using clips from Season 1. Again, amazing job, it's going on my favorites list.
@snoopy64116 Well, both One Day At A Time and Good Times were Norman Lear shows. If you noticed, all his shows in the 70's had those dark openings like All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Maude, Sanford and Son. Even Wha'ts Happening had it. Although it was not directly a Norman Lear show, Bud Yorkin, who worked on Good Times ( A Norman Lear Show) had his name attached to What's Happening and that show used the dark opening as well. I love these connections.
I love it

@mermaids14701
I am not exactly sure what a custom intro is. Anyone care to explain?

I never knew Pat Harrington was billed as a 'junior; in Season 2. I wonder why he only did it for that season?

@2nd2nun1 This isn't an intro that was actually used on the show; it is a fan-made one.

the only reason he didn't include glenn is because these are clips from season 1

Get a grip... and I don't mean your penis.
Scarpelli wasn't in the season CDThe1 was making credits for.
As far as "once again GLENN SCARPELLI gets it in the ass... I am sure he is quite used to that by now :)

A lot of shows had "dark" openings during this time. "Good Times" had that same issue.

@JhomasE What is a dark opening? I am a big fan of 70s shows and 70s theme songs.

The best song of all time Mackenzie Phillips is a hot druggy whore!

That drug addiction really cost her a lot back then. Don't know if she is still a drug hound now to this day.
