@samlo098 They cleared him on a DNA test, hand writing analysis and finger prints. If he is the serial killer he didn't act alone. Either he had someone else write the letter and send them or he knew how to write differently and had someone else lick the envelopes he sent or there was a mistake when his DNA was examined which is unlikely. I think he had someone else send and write the letters. Maybe a partner in crime or someone he forced to do it.

DNA and the palm print on his last letter didn't match the one of ALAllen. a man named jack tarrance was found, but died in 2006, has been id'd, but not yet confirmed by fbi, as the killer. the evidence is very hard to call fake... they've been working on the dna for 2 years now, and they should be telling us the answers any time now

I remember yrs back when Dennis first told of all of this with his step-dad. I have to admit I was intrigued. At the time I thought even if JT wasn't Z, that he probably was dangerous, maybe even a murderer.

The man who is or worse, believes he is the Zodiac Killer I knew in the 90's he owned a gunstore in Castro Valley called Combat Arms, his first name is/was Richard and he fit the profile perfectly. After he went nuts in my car when he saw the book by Graysmith tore it to pieces and threw the pieces out the windoe shouting Graysmith knew nothing he began parking his van down my block and following me and waiting for me after class. He truly believed himself to be the Zodiac and that may be worse.

Probably just a random nut case. As a kid, I saw Arthur Lee Allen at his job at Ace Hardware on Tennessee street on several occassions and although he wasn't a very imposing man, I always felt uneasy in his presence. Something was very wrong with him.
I always disliked going into the store with my father and even more so being near the back of the store in the same isle as him.
The only good part was walking out of there and going next door to the Fosters Freeze for a cone.

One thing that comes to mind, Lee Allen friends who claimed Lee told him all that Zodiac stuff, it was proven that it happened a year later, than he said. Now Lee wa a sicko, and I understand he tried something with his former friend's child. Which gvae motive, why hhe came up with that story.

i am positive Zodiac was (is) not some average highly intelligent loner who would never leave his room. That way, he would get caught for sure, cause those kind of guys are usually known as neigborhood "weirdos" and often gain suspicion in such cases (just like all of these suspects did, of which none is Zodiac.)

My father was a cop back then and he had the 98.8% handwriting match of a poster Rick drew. he had a converte car (same as the Zodiacs) and the same description as the Zodiac. Plus My fathers brother knew Rick Marshal and he was talking about the most most dangerous game like obsessed plus the idea of the name Zodiac and he said he wanted to kill the kids when they come out from the bus.
