@helenhorse1 I'd say it would hurt a fair bit. I've gotten a few more tattoos since this one, but always areas around the bone sting. Hope that helped!

@chelsearockz16 i remember getting my first one and i was gonna have anxiety attack, but after that i was fine. i got a playboy bunny above my right ankle and it use to glow under black light, and at first it hurt like a bitch, but it was all worth it at the end. just make sure you eat right before you go have yours done. don't be scared!! =)

compared to my other tattoo, which is on my forearm, my wrist tattoo didn't hurt NEARLY as bad. if you convince yourself that it's going to hurt, then it will. just take two tylenol or advil before you go and you will be fine. :)

Oh i could never get a tattoo on my wrist. The veins are my biggest freak out. I cant even look at my wrist without wanting to hurl. But thats just mee. Feet/wrist are my only no nos haha.. I have my neck,hip and shoulder done. Yeah it Hurts but there so worth it :] The most painful part if the before part. bieng all nervous and stressing until the needle actually first hits your skin then you realise its fine :]

to be completely honest, i'm not entirely sure if the tattooist will let you get "i'll reach out my hand to you" because of the length and the fact that the wrist is such a small area.

"love" sounds cute. my wrist tattoo isn't waaay down low on the wrist next to my hand, it's got a good inch and a half of space here. so just consider your possiblities and goodluck! the pain is more than worth it.

It depends on the person and the area wether it hurts a lot or just a little. Some people can bare with the pain, some people can't. And if you get the tattoo in a sensitive area, it will hurt a lot on most people

Well first it depends where you live, I'm in Missouri so it's legal for 16 year olds to be tattoo'd, just be sure to check on that. But it'd doesn't hurt, and most tattoo-ist's block the needle gun from you so you don't see it. I'm terrified of needles, and it doesn't hurt one bit- Just a uncomfortable feeling? Go for it, if it's what you want.
