2 things I would have tried to do if I was in that game:

On defense, try to block MJ.

On offense, get an assist from a Jordan bucket or score from Mike's pass.

Then I would have been able to retire from any level of basketball, sit in a chair and think all day about the game I blocked Air Jordan, passed to 23 or scored from Michael Jordan assist.

He gets injured, he misses out on games and payments for those games, not to mention there was probably a clause in his contract that prevented him from going all out in recreational games to avoid getting injured.

Just doing fundamentals like moving without the ball, boxing out down low, and creating for his teammates.. He would hardly ever call for the ball or bring the ball up and jack up a shot, which is something you see Kobe do with impunity. The most surprising thing that Kobe fanboys will see from actually watching MJ games is that you could hardly tell that MJ was even in the game.

That's the stuff you work on in practice so that the teammates will spot you if you're in a scoring position. Either that or your teammates may see an even better opportunity, there's no I in team. There's almost no reason to call for the ball unless the person handling the ball is inexperienced and may not see the openings.
