  • @HermanPatricia ...Paddys still? Best you can come up with? Go back to the 19th century please and let the non-racist people of today live in peace. I don't know what happened to your brain along the course of growing up, but I wish you and people like you were simply GONE.

  • @Ocirelcnu... huh? He sounds nothing like Thom and he's not trying to. It's Edge singing as he always does - good voice, not great. Good unique guitar player, but again not great. But he's certainly not trying to 'imitate' someone... why would he want to? U2 are one of the biggest bands in the world, like it or not. Here's a dollar, dude - buy a clue!

  • please watch my new youtube video, it's called "WAR IS OVER"...hell may break loose in a short time, take shelter...

  • Radiohead would have done it better...

    Disappoint.

  • he is trying to sound like thom

  • @OCIRELCNU haha true

  • Shitty Vid.

The song is about Ireland, the criminal occupation of that country and the murder and rape of its people.. Lets not compare the pain of innocent civilans who are victims of war criminals with the Imperialists grieving for their fallen fellow imperialists....

  • @HermanPatricia Yes, i agree, the criminal occupation of Northern Ireland that is still occupied to this day by the irish republican scum and IRA sympathisers, thankfully we have defeated them and Northern Ireland is safe in British hands for many years partically since the south is skint now. I big thanks to all those brave SAS soldiers who sent the IRA running . now we just have to get rid of the last of the republicans and the orange men scum as well and we can live in peace

  • @HermanPatricia

G'day champ, no time for 2 timin' Paddys u can fuck off from Oz

  • Definitely not Thom Yorke's voice!

  • To be fair, his voice does sound faintly like Thom Yorke's..

  • i don t know why nare u talking abt the edge.............bono s voice is so clear .....it s bono

  • is edge from mexico city on popmart tour on 1997 :)

  • GETFUCKED

  • irish wrist whatch.....(say it out loud)

  • This is The Edge.

  • oooh no, i just hear the chorus, change my mind, this is justin bieber, sure

  • Looks just like radiohead for me.

  • I wonder if Radiohead would cover this song. Bloody Sunday was a day when peaceful protest was banned. You can't turn the other cheek when your head is pinned to the ground by soldiers enforcing "stability" and "law" and "order". All you can do is despair, live or die submitted to everything you don't want to be for. You don't create justice with soldiers, you provoke. Under the circumstances asking "how long can this go on for?" is asking them to face a reality they shouldn't have to: Ages.

  • @wmiles91 what country are you from?

you do know that there were "protesters" with guns. and nail bombs. YES the army were quite stupid in some things they done, some innocent people were killed! but do you even have a fucking clue about the RIRA? they are the scum of the earth, they were mixed in among the protesters! the ira killed WAY more people than the army did, the army were there to "keep the peace" but seriosly learn some shit and dont take a prejudiced veiwpoint about the troubles!!!

  • This is the live Sunday Bloody Sunday from U2's If God Will Send His Angels single.

Do your research before you mislabel songs please.

  • This is the Edge during the POPMART tour.

  • THE EDGE

  • YOU SYMBOLIZE HOPE

  • This is The Edge from U2.

Look at the vidéo on youtube :

"U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday (The Edge) - Live Popmart Santiago "

  • This singer sucks. Acoustic queer version.

  • @spiderhulk63 How is this 'queer', actually? Does he sing about being attracted to men? Strange comment.

  • not sure how this song, which deals with a nasty chapter in the British military occupation of Northern Ireland, is related to the images of the US army in Iraq, since that is another, unambiguous military occupation...but anyways...nice song...and no, that wasn't Thom Yorke...cheers!

  • @gonzoplatter Perhaps this song wanted us to learn from our mistakes and the video wanted to illustrate the fact that we havent?

  • not sure how this song, which deals with a nasty chapter in the British military occupation of Northern Ireland, is related to the images of the US army in Iraq, since that is another, unambiguous military occupation...but anyways...nice song...and no, that wasn't Thom Yorke...cheers!

  • I'm particularly fond of the photos of our troops in Iraq: fathers holding Iraqi children and sitting next to them in a manner most becoming of our country. I think that happened more often than we will ever know with the media's coverage of a war with so many losses and setbacks, but many a war that was wrought with beautiful moments of compassion. God bless all our troops on this coming 10 year 9/11 anniversary.

  • @care1281 your only in it for the oil

  • Fuck your troops. Us oil wars killed thousands of innocent iraq citizens, men women and children

  • @kdakan Asshat ! This song has nothing to do with The U.S its troops or anything even remotely connected to the U.S. so before you go all Jihad on this post with your hate, do some fucking homework. U2 is an Irish band and this song is about a tragic event that happened in Ireland! Now would you please take your ignorance and fuck off!

  • I don't mind if it's The Edge or Radiohead, as long as the version is good ! :D

  • @Iantorchwood94 Nice pics by the way, really touchy ^^

  • U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday (The Edge) - Live Popmart Santiago - search that - you can watch the edge sing it

  • this is not the edge's voice... the guitar sounds like exactly like the solo pop mart tour version, but not the voice... i dont know..

  • LOL

  • I was at this in dublin and unless i was strung out im pretty sure tom york was not there... How did some muppet make this mistake?

And this being this song, By this band, about this subject matter how could anyone but a total fool cover it. Especially radiaohead? WTF business would they have covering this song.

Edge is a legend BTW! Rock on U2.

  • Yeah, this is the Edge solo song from Popmart. Awesome song.

  • Sunday Bloody Sunday is a far greater song than anything of Radiohead's. Fact of life.

  • Its edge

  • its liam gallagher 100%

  • its liam gallgher 100%

  • haha radiohead. yeah and i'm the pope! still, it's a great version, it shows that edge is a great musician

  • This is The Edge from the Live Popmart Santiago show. I just found it on here.

    Debate over.

  • God sake it's the freaking Edge on Popmart in 1997 douchebag. Radiohead couldn't hold a candle to this classic.

  • No way is this Radiohead. Sounds nothing like Thom Yorke. It's the Edge.

  • how long, how long we must sing this song...

  • really touching pictures ! :) if you did that, congratulation !

  • THIS IS NOT RADIOHEAD! Sure, they have been known to play cover songs, but this is not one of them. As delta said, its the Edge. This sounds nothing like Thom Yorke's vocals and nothing like Radiohead.

  • @toodogz1 It is indeed Radiohead you pleb..I know Radiohead when I hear them and have been a fan since the beginning. RADIOHEAD HAVE ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGED U2 AS A MAJOR INFLUENCE ON THEIR MUSIC CITING ACTHUNG BABY,ZOOROPA AND POP AS KEY INFLUENCES ESP WITH REGARD TO BEING BRAVE AND TRYING NEW INNOVATIVE STYLES OF MUSIC.

  • @esnire idiot!! Sounds nothing thom yorke!

  • sounds like radiohead to me :D

  • It isn't Thom, it's the Edge from U2.

He did this solo version on the pop mart tour. Search and see for yourself.

  • @deltabluesish Yep your a 1005 right. I have seen him sing it. They go straight into Bullet the blue sky after this.

  • Respond to this video... 100% i ment :)

  • @deltabluesish

You're right, it is Edge at Sarajevo 23 sept 1997

  • @jonnyqh, if you there, you were not at a radiohead show.

  • @pyite23 YES, IT IS RADIOHEAD. Check out Atoms For Peace. They cover Joy Division, The Smiths, more U2 songs, and more. In fact I don't think there is anyone Thom's range can't cover or harmonize with, including Bjork and P.J.Harvey. As for the Oasis Wonderwall cover, that was a joke because they state at the end that "It's abysmal" and "It's always fun to make fun of Oasis!" FYI and JSYK.

  • @Superrobotmama atoms for peace has only covered joy division once... the smiths was covered by radiohead on one of their webcasts (where they also covered a new order song and a pre-recorded bjork cover). radiohead has never covered u2, except for a small fragment of "love" after "I might be wrong" in earl's court 2003

  • Of course it's not radiohead, that voice isn't thom's

  • @jonnyqh Yeah was radiohead i was there

  • hi longitudes i ´ve been looking for this on the internet, where was this and when? was it actually on bloody sunday or something, i imagine so, or else in belfast, or both possibly.. let me know anyway

  • @longitudes who are you trying to impress? fool... this is the edge from u2 singing it at the pop mart tour. not radiohead at all. it doesn'te ven sound like thom.

  • @jonnyqh Wrong. It is Thom.

  • This is not Radiohead.

  • @pyite23 This is clearly Radiohead :O
