  • another one who were the two kids name in the popeye short anyone knows that.

  • I am so grateful for these Popeye cartoons. I run an animation forum online, & there are few people who have a greater appreciation for this earlier animation than I do! I love everyone of these!

  • I hope that all the folks here saying how much they love these cartoons have bought the official releases from Warner Bros. And no, I don't work for them. But like many fans, I'm still waiting on all the Famous Studios shorts to get released. And the reason this hasn't happned is due to low sales of the original Fleischer shorts. Just sayin'

  • wow! I hav watched all the episodes Popeye was talking about :D

  • @prakashexe me too(:

  • @ryandeakin5878 Good to know that. Thanks to JrFLYnnIV for uploading these great videos. I watch 2 to 3 episodes almost everyday during my dinner time :D. Yesterday, I finished watching 79th number. :D

  • @prakashexe popeye ftw ( for the win)

  • Ironic fact: Right about the time this cartoon came out, Nazi Germany passed the world's first animal protection laws.

  • I know how that little kid feels. I myself used to be somewhat bullied when I was his age. And ever since then I've always hated bullies, and not to mention think of them now as my enemies.

  • I'm surprised there are no PETA weirdos up in here criticizing the rampant animal abuse. So refreshing!

  • Yay! Axe Me Another! My favorite! :D

  • I recorded the colorized version of this short off of Boomerang a couple years back, and what's really weird about it is that they colorized the animation, but not the live action footage.

  • @OtterFan25 This colorization, done in 1968 by the Koreans, was done in a short period of time.

  • Great upload! Thanks! Stop the flick at :52 and see what restaurant prices were back in 1935.

  • There's A Re-Dubbed Version Of This Cartoon!

    Brian Doyle-Murray-Popeye

    Jim Cummings-Bluto

    Nancy Cartwright-Olive Oyl, Little Kid

    Tom Kenny-Bully

    Frank Welker-Various Animal Vocal Effects

  • October 25th!

    That's my birthday!

  • THANK YOU! I've been looking for this one!

  • love this cartoon....I know times were hard and different back then....but I feel sorry for the kid. not just because he is being picked on by a Bully (Hate them) but his clothes look bad..

  • Nowadays, this show wouldn't be able to be aired - CPS would be all over the big kid.

Actually, I kind of like it when the sissy clocks him after eating his spinach.

  • yes

  • Is he a sissy?

  • the kolorized version is rare. Upload it

  • This is better than the Korean color version.

  • This animation fucking owns

  • from 3:07 - 4:33

Actually it seems popeye is jumping into his past, and mae questel gets to voice a few of which bonnie poe previously voiced, mae questel even gets to do the little boys voice in this live action popeye feature

Betty Boop also jumped into her past aswell but when she did there was no voice overs they just used old features
