Actually, if the official story was true, there would be hot-spots, but only low-temperature ones. Around 500C-600C would be about what you would expect.

At that temperature range, you would not see molten metal except for tin and aluminum.

Color is everything for determining what temperature is needed.

Red-orange would likely indicate about 2500-3000F molten steel or iron. Given the lack of oxygen, a chemical reaction is about the only explanation. Fire = Oxygen + Fuel + Heat + Reaction

Actually there have been experiments done where other organic materials, such as what was in the building, were added to the aluminum. What happens is the other materials separate themselves from the aluminum and burn away while the aluminum stays silver. The other materials don't just simply mix and glow throughout the aluminum.

While true that the drywall is CaSO4, it is very unlikely that by simply being crushed the sulphur would form a eutectic. Sulfidation doesn't happen simply by crushing drywall against structural steel. The FEMA investigation even backs up the stance that this sulfidation may be a result of a thermite-based reaction.

The explanation is very simple: cooling.

We know it was molten at one point because the metal was in solid chunks. It was not possible to determine where the metal had been used in the building because it had become molten and reformed into a pool, slowly cooling and becoming a solid once more, even then still glowing red-hot even after MUCH time had past ( weeks? months? ).

The glow isn't the issue, a good fire could do that. The fact that numerous metals (incl steel) melted is a big deal.

The oxygen for the fire was in regards to the maximum temperature attainable by a jet-fuel fueled fire being determined by the "oxygen environment."

Base Thermite (Fe2O3Al) obviously has its own oxygen. If it didn't, it would not be very effective.

This was my point afterall, jet fuel could not have done the damage - not enough O2, Superthermite gel would have been needed to satisfy the chemical analysis results while also explaining the molten metals.
