There was something in this scene that just made it so powerful for me. Maybe most people wouldn't even notice it, but it just made it that much more meaningful to me. The first three shots came in quick succession. but the last shot, the shot to commit suicide, was delayed a little. I just imagined him standing over the bodies of his family, in emotional pain, and knowing then that if he hadn't already planned on killing himself, he needed to now, because he could never live without them.
i must say russel and stephen really know their stories. cant wait for the horror promised by stephen! also season 4 is rumoured to go into pre-production in january

Sometimes I find it hard to believe the Doctor and Torchwood are in the same universe. Things always seem less gloomy when he's around.
