Nice to make the acquaintance of some fellow fans of this kind of music. Also, kudos for this clip as I don't know of any "official" DVD's out with Tal and her band.............(which is the Wayne Krantz trio...minus LeFeuvbre (sp?) plug in Tal). Of course, this is one of Tal's tunes from her cd. I agree.....I love her cd and would love to see a dvd or live cd of her stuff with this particular line up................!

I was recording in full view on my phone, and bar staff were walking past ignoring it, finally staff came up and told me that I,d already been warned. I got a rather nasty message on youtube from somebody the next day, I suspect it was 55 staff... hehe

Very happily surprised to hear Tal's "Cosmic Joke" here...anyone know if Krantz/Wilkenfeld split tunes when they play together in the States, or was this just the arrangement for the Australian tour?

I think it's just for the tour because most bands like to go all out for the foreign tours.

I was at the 55 Bar gig on October 2nd, and they didn't play ANY of Tal's tunes...disappointing, since i love that disc. Also disappointing was the fact that I recorded the entire show, and later discovered that my Edirol R-09HR was set to "0" for the input volume the whole night. :(

Where did you hide the Edirol, these guys are pretty picky about letting people record the shows at the 55...

i had it in a bag (with the lights hidden) with the mics juuuust poking out ever so slightly, and this was in the crook of my arm. Not that it made a difference!
