Thank you for sharing their stories and for keeping hope alive that we will one day end BSL, no country should adopt this terrible warped law instead of education. Why kill innocent dogs that have never hurt anyone? Why is our species not able to act compassionately to all breeds of dogs, why are certain breeds discriminated against just because of how they look? It's wrong and very cruel especially to their loving owners and of course to the dogs who are killed without mercy :(
Every one of these precious babies should be living their lives as they should have been - BSL is a cruel law, killing the innocent, breaking human hearts and tearing families apart ! Shame on our Ontario for allowing the death of these dogs !
Made me cry. I've finally achieved my goal of having a small rescue for pitbulls and it is so overwhelming how many are so neglected and mistreated. One of my rescues had her leg broken when a couple weeks old, one was a mangy pup destined for life on a chain or fighting, and my most recent is a very young girl who is all bones and had so many puppies already...when are people going to learn that these are dogs in need of humane treatment like any other dog? They get the worst of it.
Well done to you all, a fantastic event speaking out against the cruelty and injustice of BSL, such beautiful well behaved dogs, they are a credit to you, keep up the good work and compassion and common sense will one day win through. Sharing far & wide xx
