Nice selection. Went to see them in the mid 80's and went back stage my bud skitch allways found a way to get backstage with his smooth bullshit. Jorma a great guy and Jack as well. Hot tuna at the beacon tonight.
One of my all-time favorites. I played this at my husband's memorial service. Always reminds me of the love of my life. Thank you for posting this wonderful tune.
as a 17 year old in an age of Rap, I only knew of the more Mainstream classic rock bands with my personal favorite as the dead. Then I found out about Hot Tuna. Water song actually inspired me to learn guitar. these guys are absolutely amazing on an acoustic Ive never heard anything quite as magical as Jormas guitar work and lyrically they are brilliant as well. This is one of my all time favorite songs, no matter what mood im in this song can always send me away. Absolutely amazing
Great Jorma, so beautiful. Nice edit too, great selection of images, love the Papa John and Jack pics too - a wave of memories from that era just came crashing over me, I need a time machine. Thanks, much appreciated.
Thanks for sharing a nicely done video and audio. I especially liked the shot of a smiling Jack Casady behind that Burger's 1940's sedan, and of course the Papa John photos. You got some shots of Jorma I don't remember ever seeing too.
@ocnarfeara Most beautiful acoustic guitar work Ive ever heard. First heard on radio-70's (WKTU NYC) It was SO BEAUTIFUL, it woke me up. Fell asleep, never got artist/title. Spent over year waiting 2 catch on radio with only sketches of what it sounded like in my head. FINALLY heard again on WQIP(NYC)recognized immediately. Purchsd vinyl-HarmonyHut-Wayne, NJ [colorful cover]. Lent to friend (bad move) prchsd 2nd vinyl(Jorma's pic front Tom's back). Utube version seems to cut a section?
I commented on someone else's post of this song, but I like this one SO much better. I heard this song many years ago, but never knew the name or artist until I googled the lyrics :D
I first heard this song at 10:37am on a weekday back in 1982. I was slumbering after working 3rd shift while in college. I rolled over, noted the time, then called the station later that day to ask who the musian was. This song is golden! i.e. no one should copy perfection
Hey Thanks!! It means a lot to me when one writes what he feels about my work, a valuable feedback that keeps me trying to improve everyday in everyway..Thank you very much.!!

If you want to make a nice segue, when this ends, fade into Dear Prudence from the 'White Album' ... I've done it and it's sweet!

@eaglewingpalace Hi thanks for the tip. Dear Prudence is one of my favorites songs ever..
