Witzig ist das auch nicht, man sieht das er den Kopf richtig nach vorn wirft. Das ist unangenehm, wie bei uns ähnlich dem Schluckauf !

@grayskull56 then the keets you have seen have not been very happy. they do this to show they love or care about their owner or another animal or even a special toy. they are happy and content when they do that.

My budgie slept on my pillow with me every night and he would make noises while he was falling asleep.  Not chirping or singing but a low-buzzing growl. . Then I found out he learned it from me. Mom told me says I've been making "sleep noises" since I was a baby, and my husband confirms that i still do, when I'm very very tired.

No, just yawning.. Mine used to do it as well and make little 'put' 'put' 'put' noises - I thought he was chocking on a seed(!) but they do it all the time - tired little buggers I think.

He's not yawning, he's just got some seed stuck in his crop and he's trying to clear it. Probably ate his seed too quick! Ours does it too greedy guts. Nothing to worry about tho, just like us having a bit of indigestion.

Aw, its so sad when they die.. I still think about my Charlie :'( He was my favorite, he outlived 3 other birds, 2 female, 1 male, and I wasn't there when he died - I hated that..
