The bottomline is comparing two players from different era's is just stupid. First of all it can't accurately be done, and second they're two different eras... Things aren't and never will be the same. Michael was an innovator he did things no player has ever done before. im gonna give my opinion, kobe is better than jordan for 2 things, which are the next:
1. Kobe Won a championship without shaq, without a good team, he was the main mind in the lakers in the 2008 2009 season (Jordan won all his rings with one of the best teams of ever, i mean Pippen, the worm, etc etc. HE HAD TEAM!, HE WASNT DOING EVERYTHING, HE WAS JUST SHOOTING).

The bottomline is comparing two players from different era's is just stupid. First of all it can't accurately be done, and second they're two different eras... Things aren't and never will be the same. Michael was an innovator he did things no player has ever done before. Kobe may be able to match many of those things but he wasn't challenged with the task of basically "inventing" them. He's standing on the shoulders of the players that came before him, so to speak.

Lost some respect for Kobe over cheating on his wife, but he's still a big baller. As far as character goes, LeBron's the closest of the two to Jordan. As far as moves go, I have to go with Kobe. to this day everyone has come short of surpassing MJ, but i think Lebron has a chance to be the 1st great player that no one has never seen before. off the court, he has that charisma, the commercials, the endorsments, so far he has that good guy status of carring himself well, all at a young age. of course on the court, he is dominating stats wise plus his team is the best in the east. the last great player to do this was MJ.
