i really want this game, what systems is it for? i dont have a 3ds but i have a game boy advance, Nintendo Ds (im guessing thats different from 3ds right) and game cube. i am playing the free one online but the quality isnt good, but i will still play it since i hear its really good, but i plan on buying it.

Zelda: Link's Awakening was only ever released in hardcopy form on the original Game Boy in 1993 in black & white, then Nintendo re-released it in color for the Game Boy Color in 1998. If you own a Game Boy Advance, they also play GB and GBC games, so you can hunt a copy down or find one online on ebay or whatnot. Alternatively, you can play GB & GBC games on your GameCube if you hunt down the "Game Boy Player". Hooks to the bottom of your Cube. Good luck finding it!

@videogamemaster223 Well.... in that case the only "original" Zelda games are the first 2 on Nintendo it self, As far as I knew, Mario Characters and some enemies, was always Easter eggs in Zelda games, like Ocarina of time on 64, they have Mario Pictures when you look through the window when u first met princess Zelda. anyways in this case, Mario RPG ripped off Zelda and Metroid =P

Same here man! I started with OoT like a lot of people, and I gotta say this is a LOT more difficult than OoT and the Zelda games I'm used to.

I was only five when i went through OoT and I didn't have nearly the trouble I'm having with this game, and I'm eighteen now -_-

Still thoroughly enjoying the game though, hope you enjoy it as much as I am too :D

To save, you just have to walk into a house. Then it automatically saves. The next time you turn the power on, you start outside the same house you saved at. At least that's how it is in the older, non-color version of the game.
