  • @ACAMUCOL Dude, English please.

  • That pedal technique when he played the Bumble bee part is so amazing.

  • MAX鷹野さんのアレンジ大好きです!素晴らしい演奏です♪

  • One of the greats. Bravo, Max!

  • Wow...the sounds coming out of this thing are amazing, and Mr. Takano can make the thing get up and dance! Bravo!

  • I think he should use the Yamaha Stagea ELS-01X rather than the custom model Yamaha Stagea ELS-01C. The sound quality may almost be the same but the ELS-01X looks better on stage.

  • @fishingfins well i agreed with you too. 01X has a better look on the stage. too bad, Yamaha Music Malaysia doesn't have the 01X model in the HQ yet.... still 01C.

  • @AlexanderNVIDIA I think maybe its because its way too expensive to buy an ELS-01X and only a few people could afford it. Its better there in Malaysia, in our country no one has ever had an ELS-01C. Only a very few people bought an ELS-01 and some of the electone players here only buys the entry level ELB-01 because its the cheapest and most of the people here prefer to buy 2nd hand electones from japan like EL-87, EL-90, EL57, EL37, EL70, EL-60, HS-8 and HS-5 rather than the entry level ELB-01

  • The only I can see new Electones in my country is by youtube. I remember going to hear Max in Northern Ireland in the early 1980s. He played the HX1 and HS8. It was a fantastic show.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I realize I'm going to suffer a barrage of abuse for this statement but it has to be said that this guy's timing is dreadful. What's worse is that the the video of him playing this when he was younger has exactly the same lousy timing. Doesn't he listen to himself?

  • Can someone give me the button/screen layout of the Stagea and I will show you what I mean, I will re-design its look.

  • Max Takano is only part of a member in the team of developing electone. Audioquest doesn't insult Mr Takano, authentically voices from ELX-1m are nicer than Electone Stegea, and it still remains the beautiful voices until now :)

  • Absolutely effortless! Max is amazing to watch and listen to.

  • Max is one of the best. Too bad that StageA looks like a toy organ. Yamaha needs a new "stage" Electone like ELX-1.

  • toy organ??? Does your eyes have any optical problems?? This STAGEA was designed by him! How dare you to say his electone is a toy organ...!! What we need is, the sound quality and performance... not the design. Well there's another pro model of STAGEA, that's ELS-01X. Just like ELX-1.

  • @AlexanderNVIDIA Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Trust me, nobody loves the Electone more than me. It's just that StageA is UGLY as sin. It has NO stage presence. Sit at an FX-1, ELX-1 or even the FX-20 and you'll understand.

  • i see~ well i suggest that you should have a little discussion with Mr Takano to redesign a new STAGEA for Yamaha to have a better stage presence. cuz every Electones are designed by him. ^^ Everything you just mentioned about a more STAGE Presence cuz STAGEA doesn't has triple keyboards. right? And you think that STAGEA has to be bigger in size, triple keyboards, two BIG bulky speakers on both sides..... isnt it?? I have sit on FX-1 and ELX-1 before, FX 20?? no cuz it looks kinda crappy and old

  • Plus i have took part several concerts by started with EL700, EL900, FX-1(when i was 8) and STAGEA 01C. Too bad i haven't touch the 01X yet. I have the feel of playing FX-1, just like im in a Star Wars Command Center. The ELX-1? it was my teacher's. I was wanted to have it...... but unfortunately i cant afford it. i was just have an HS-2. its small sized just like EL100. We all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you can't say STAGEA is ugly as sin, you might insult Mr Max Takano.

  • Mind you Max is a great player, he isn't exactly pretty though is he!

  • @AlexanderNVIDIA Everybody and every company makes a "dud" once in a while. It happens to car companies and electronics companies. The product may be good, but the package is poor and therefore, it is considered a bad product. Stagea may sound wonderful, but it looks poor (cheap plastic, etc). Anyway, this is all a moot point anyways as Yamaha is going to stop producing Electones forever soon. It would be nice if they came out with one more stage Model like the GX-1 as a last hurrah.

  • I can see what Audioquest is saying though, the Stagea, visually isnt the most exciting instrument in the world is it, we all know the sound quality is awesome but the actual physical appearance does make it look like the Stagea cabinet was a purchase from MFI! Yes Audioquest is right it does not LOOK like a flagship machine.
