ok I got a 8800 gts pci-e 640mb im putting in my intel core 2 duo e4600 with 4gb ram and 500gb dard drive and a 650 watt power supply just waiting on my card to arrive will I be able to play call of duty modern warfare 2 on high settings? im clueless just excited and havent received my card yet..plan on upgrding my tower to quad core sooner or later but for now can i play some of the higher end games ?

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me: The more memory, the higher resolutions you can play on.

I prefer the 8800 GTS 512 (G92)

The 1gb 8800gt is better for gaming at a higher res. but still not as good as the gts.

the Gts has 128 stream processors and the gt has 112.

yea, i have the same MB and card and i just got another 8800gts. it is uch faster. and duke, do you have problems overclocking your cpu. i have a Q6600 and it ALWAYS crashed when i overclock only on the mobo. other mobos its fine.

I love it plenty of room, except I cant fit my Thermaltake Big Water 850i liquid cooling pump and reservoir inside my case because it's not wide enough with my Video card in it, and I cant put it below my HDD without bending the tubes.

depends, how many frames are you getting with those two cards in SLI, with everything maxed in Call of Duty, or how many frams are you getting in Crysis (if you have it) in 1024x768 and graphis on very high, no AA

1440 x 900 its just future games im worried about

Hey, im getting an ASUS P5N-D too with E8400, 2x2gb Corsair and so on..

But i have heard the motherboard have some issues, that it cant run dual RAM sticks, and that you get artifacts and stuff when watching videos.

Have you experienced any problems?

I have had no issues with this motherboard, I have 4 sticks of ram equaling 4GB of memory. I only had a problem when I OC'ed my processor and the voltage wasn't high enough, it just restarted my computer and I went into the BIOS and set it one step higher and it runs fine now.

No, I don't have MSN, but I can install AIM and use my old account, I tried to set my frequency (I guess that OC'es the processor) a good deal higher with the ASUS AI Suite and it says the system needs to shut down and never does. I tried using the BIOS, but can't figure out how to OC, just need a little help and I'll be fine. I wanna OC if I get a Thermaltake Pro Water, or even with my Zalman. Just need a walkthrough with overclocking in the BIOS without destroying my processor.

Download the demo and see if your system can handle it. I enjoy this game more than Crysis, the multiplayer is very fun.

demo always has problem :( i have window vista 64-bit sucks on some demo like crysis.. etc was horrible ;/ i guess the 8800gt can't handle DX10 games that great.. lol i have E8400 @ 4.0ghz though ;/

Nice OC, I've got my E8400 @ 3.15 GHz, just OC'ed it yesterday, just went to AI Suite (Asus Motherboard program) and set it to 5% Overclock. At anything past 5%, the system won't restart and just freezes, I really dont understand OC'ing. How hot does it run at 4GHz? I wannt get it to 3.50GHz, think you can teach me? I'm on air cooling (Zalman 9500A), and my E8400's max temp with both core at 100% is 134F, but as I'm typing, it's running at 111F.

I want to get liquid cooling, but I'm not up for liquid leaking on my Chipset and XFX GeForce 8800 GTS.

Anyone know any know any liquid cooling systems that have had no leaks? Kind of tough question, just dont want liquid leaking all over my hardware, pretty expensive stuff.
