I've got a flu injection this afternoon.I took my own band aid with me.But the nurse didn't agree with me to stick it and said to me first our band aid and then after that you may stick your own one.Hahaha,it was a simple answer.So that I obeyed her advice.It was the answer what I thought.^_^¨,,

Where my husband works it is mandatory that they get the flu shot (works at a hospital) and now he is sick. Seems like every time he gets the flu shot he ends up getting sick!

@starletshay yup, full on, pull your arm all the way back and punch full force, punch. We were a bunch of sickos. One time i swear my friend punched the vaccine out of my arm, oh then the bruises that seemed to last extra long. >_< yup kids.

I don't see what's scary about shots. They don't hurt. lol The only shot that I've had that hurt any was the tetanus shot, that thing left a bruise. O.o Also giving blood, if there's a cruddy phlebotomist... Jeeze, one time I had this lady that was so bad the vein/area around it was bruised for a couple of weeks. She just keep moving the needle, and then having to take it out and put it back in like how the hell did you graduate lady??? o.o

Wow, if you react like that for just a flu shot, I would LOVE to see you donate blood! The needle they use is HUGE compared to the ones they use for vaccinations! And of course that huge needle stays in your arm for about 10 minutes. I'm lucky that needles dont bother me at all. I have donated blood like 50 times. But dont feel bad, fear of needles is one of the top five phobias, so you have LOTS of company! ;-p
