Most automobiles have this contraption opposite where the driver sits. It's called the steering wheel. By manipulating it in the proper direction it should guide your car east to the W Tennessee vicinity. Maybe you have to add some power steering fluid inside...
Oops, after sending my post I see I gave you directions to the east coast of Tenn and you wanted to go to the west coast of Tenn, sorry but I am not sure how you could do that from where you are located. The on star girl may be right after all.
If you start out going west and keep going you will eventually end up on the east coast of Tenn don't worry about the on star girl, i've done it, it will work.
i think it is some unnatural gravitational pull you are just going to have to ride it out and hopefully it will calm down good luck from the woods of Florida

I hadn't ever thought about those things in a while, that lead me to go find them and I discovered I have either lost or miss placed one. I looked into the travel problem and near as I can tell you need to ride on that why 63 towards Tennessee. Good luck Sam
Yer problem is tryin to go in a straight line,.....dont do that! What ya wanna do is start drivin north or south in a big ol'circle and before long you'll be on the back side of where ya wanna be and then all ya hafta do is drive west. I know, we's gotta do that a lot in here West Virginia!

I sure am glad that I drive my mother-in-law's 1988 Oldsmobile as my everyday car. That way I do not have to worry about onstar girl confusing me.
I'll just rely on dead reckoning to get to the east coast of Arkansas.

Just point the front of the car west and drive in reverse to tennessee. Problem solved.
