Haha hey man its up to the user! If you're really bad with tech ( can't really figure out a pc) then stick with an ios device. If you can at least know how to do a few things on a PC you should be fine. Android is not that scary! Ice cream sandwich is a major software update. Just like windows xp to windows 7 or ios 4 to ios 5. I hope that helps! :)

To be honest, I'm a big fan of music, HUGE fan and when I first tried out the music it was fair to say that I was a little d disappointed. The sound was narrow and full of treble about the same as an ipod, so I downloaded dsp manager and made my own custom eq and it made a world of difference. Deep, rich, clear bass with no distortion and a wide sound. So in short, when you get the note, slap dsp manager on there first thing!!

@coldfustion Voodoo is a sound driver for this device and several others, if you install this you will have unmatched sound quality against any device even HTC sensation XL which uses beats by Dre... The reason for this is that these phones use the wolfson audio codec which when optimised sounds magnificent... if in doubt at least give it a try and judge for yourself.

@hehaws The note actually uses a Yamaha chip like the SGS2 so the normal Voodoo won't work, but the author made Voodoo: LOUDER which will boost the built-in amp, creating better sound. Not Galaxy S+Voodoo good, but better.

A couple other have said this but I'll say it again anyway. You've made the best smartphone video I've ever seen. I've watched this about ten or more times.

Question; How did you get you home screen to landscape as well. I have my ADW set to landscape only but the lock screen is still in portrait. Since that's the case a lot of the time when i go back to the home screen it loads before the selected picture per the screen I'm on. In your video, I didn't see you's skip a beat.wats diff

What lock screen are you using? you can use widget locker to get the screen to change orientation . As for the photo loading, (if you're using a galaxy note) upgrade to the KL7 rom and also download SD-card booster (this helps boost the speed of loading photo's video's etc from the sd card) but you need to root to get that to work unfortunately..

Now as far as rooting the device; what is he benefit? Will the phone now utilize all of the RAM vs the 800? What else? I see that you mentioned the SD-Card Booster but I can't unless I root the device. How do you do that? I've also heard that it's possible to brick the device and I don't want that to happen because then I'll be forced to by the White one. LOL
