  • you know, tyou can still devein your shrimp, while still leaving on the shell. Try it....omit the poop and see for yourself how your flavors will sing. i agree with others, you should either lose the music or turn it WAY down. Also, your knife skills could be improved. Nice recipe though

    Can you suggest a nonalcoholic substitute for Garlic wine ?

  • @irfand4 All you need to do is substitute either chicken, seafood or vegetable stock for the same amount of wine. You may like to add a bit more ginger, though.

  • BTW, I meant no disrespect. But, when you see all the Utube vids from America. The homely kitchens are larger than most European living rooms. Americans have larger garages for their cars than most people in the world have to live in. The fault is with their governments but that is exactly what their governments fight against. Let me cook my prawns. Sigh.

  • If only your people were free again, you would re-conquer the world. You are using an electric stove when you could have been using a Viking 5000 BTU gas burning one. Good Heavens, what exquisite dishes you may have invented with the "proper" tools. Alas, you are just a cog in the wheel.

  • I haven't tried replacing the wine but I can't see why a little seafood stock wouldn't work just as well. Though you should then add perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon of chopped ginger with the garlic as well.
