@NoblyRotten Completely agree. U2 are lacking in the creative department if u ask me. Using Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno over the past few years has set them back. Rick Rubin brought out something good with them a few years back. They should have stuck with his creative input and made an album. Instead they shelved that project and went to where all was familiar. Don't get me wrong, I believe Daniel Lanois and Eno have great minds. Bono & the Edge not so much. Btw I have been a fan since 1984...

It's such an introspective album -- it sounds like they had to pull back and regroup(literally) after overextending themselves with War, and just before overextending themselves again with the next album.

I only listen to Unforgettable when I'm in that mood too: transitional, slightly sad, slightly brooding, wondering what just happened and where I'm headed.

"Promenade" and "Indian Summer Sky" are my favorite -- it's a treat to hear "Indian" live again. thanks for uploading it!
