i tested a system from profit and it is is much faster than this. it also has very nice scrap remove sleeves, so this holesaw goes 5 times faster! and removing of the plug is much easier as in this video. (you dont need an screwdriver)
Engineers try to fix a bad design for cutting wood with the side slots. Bi-metal are fine for metal but terrible for wood. Use a big gullet hole saw like the Blue Boar TCT and the plug falls out of the hole saw as soon as the cut is finished. Saves a lot of time not to mention that I can cut holes all day on a single battery charge with my 18v cordless drill.
FINALLY someone figured out a simple way to clear out a hole saw. Why didn't they think of this 30 yrs ago ? We used to file a notch in the side of the straight slot to server as a lever point for a screwdriver.
