This man did not go seeking other religions and did not associate with Christians. How did he become "polluted" by a false religion or fail in adhering to Islam? Jesus Christ himself came to him on His own. This man was seeking Allah truly from his heart and Allah had no power. Allah has no power to forgive because Allah himself is not forgiven.
