Have they ever had an opening where instead of from Sams point of view it was from Al's point of view. I know that the pilot was like that. This weekend at my girlfriends house, I was fooling around and wrote a fake opening. I had Ziggy wake Al up and tell him that there was a problem with the new visitor. When Al walks into the visitors room (I know it was called something else in the series) the visitor askes Al what happened to the bomb that was strapped around his neck. Al then said Oh Boy!
They rarely show the future in Quantum Leap, and for good reason. Although, while it doesn't begin from Al's point of view, you should watch the episode Killin' Time, it's one of my favorite episodes and it actually shows more of the alternate 1999. That one practically stars Al in his own time.
I'd prefer Q's Star Trek shit over this crap.
