@reighs1 That is the problem. Iran WILL NOT only use their nuclear programs for just energy. there will be weapons made. The U.S. having nukes is a result of the weapons race against Russia in the cold war. Since then, no new nukes have been built by the U.S. and more and more are now being disabled and dismantled. As well as dismantling it's own nukes, the U.S. tries to help other countries do the same. Iran is too volatile and unpredictable to have nukes and be trusted not to use them.
