@85benzaaa Theres two sides to that story, both the US and the UK have guns that have bad history, the M16 had pretty bad issues with jamming and other aspects, the same with the SA80 has a shit history with jamming and spent cases flying into the faces of the firer.

In the end I believe it comes down to giving the troops weapons that work properly in the first place, rather than buying cheap weapons then being forced to upgrade after so much bad press from the people that use them.

It would be cool to rate these on efficiency and practicality. For example the AK-47 is the most efficient gun for war and has been for years. Its cheap, rarely jams, is easily fixed, loves water and is cheap. These might be more efficient at killing, in that they fire quicker have a greater impact zone, range etc. Realistically though when your enemy can equip soldiers for a 100th of the price it cost you it becomes very hard to beat.
