But if you want a tutorial, go to mismag822 channel, go to advanced tricks and look at a trick called hijacked, its the exact same thing with the exact same cards.
I've been trying to get a new video up for a long time, just don't get the time to sit down and be able to film something new anymore. Hopefully, after exams are over I'll have a bit of time to put something new up here, so hope to see something new within the next month.
Thanks! Yeah, I do this more of a hobby and don't have much time these days. You're probably my first music-related subscription who actually enjoys this too :P Thanks for your kind words and comments.
If you are a true magician and have any decency and respect for the art, than you wouldn't reveal the trick. The fact that you are asking this question proves you're just another YouTube "tutorialist" and not a card magician.
I'm glad you have changed your views. There is no need to apologize to me, I didn't create the trick. I was merely stating a fact, no creator would like their marketed effect to be exposed for free online. Its just unethical.
Yes, i agree with everything you said. I am working harder on advanced tricks but i need help on the angle of my cardini. I have the trilogy by Dan and Dave, but i have yet to purchase The System bebause I don´t know if I want tostart flourishes. Thanks anyways.
When you're learning effects, it's better to learn it point by point and not take easy outs. For example, the 1-handed vanish of the first ace taught on the DVD is in so many ways better than the easy ditch you did. Secondly, the bottom snap production of the first ace(which originates from Chris Kenner's effect in TEN city) is much more visual than the pop-out. suggest learning both of those as they are more effective. Other than that, smooth handling. 4/5.
I agree that in some cases I have taken the easy way out, but that is because the substitute moves I have used accomplish the same effect without much practice. The main purpose of such an effect is to wow the spectator, and I'm sure you would agree that the moves I used did just that in spite the fact they are easier.
They may be more visual for us as magicians, but for a spectator its all in all the same because its an unexpected production and no matter which way you do it, the surprise factor WILL wow them.
While I admit that you performing the trick by means of the sleight substitutions you made would in some cases be "wow" material to a lay audience, the original moves were original for a reason. For example, the one-handed vanish of the first ace. The reason D. Rhodell used the one-handed approach was because the empty hand can be used to make gestures. Gestures do a couple of things: they provide a more casual feel, and also provides a little bit of misdirection.
(continued) The same can be said about the Chris Kenner one hand bottom pop out move. That is, one handed gestures provide misdirection/casualness. The two sleights really aren't that difficult. Learn them well. I commend you for your XCM ability, albeit I think you need to step it up a notch in magic.
Here's a brief description of me during this vid: "what the hell..? what the hell..?! fuck oooff! no way!" Been following your work for a while now too... You're awesome! Thumbs up =D
Hey XC! i've been watching your vids for years now and i'm very impressed with how your technique has developed. I hope i see you on tv some day soon!
I love this trick, but what I love more is at the end, you give the viewer a place where they can learn how to do it, instead of giving a tutorial. Why don't you make a DVD where you teach people how to do the stuff you do? That way, you can make money yourself, instead of the people you lead viewers to.
first of all most of the stuff she does are copyrighted, which means it would be illegal for her to sell the stuff that she does, unless she is the creator
True, unless she gets permission. If I had my way, the only thing that you would be able to copyright when it comes to the subject of magic teaching, would be the script used to teach the trick. As long as you use your own script and not someone else's, you could teach any trick you want, sell it, and you wouldn't have to worry about getting sued.
very easy

This is nice, but very "Dan and Dave"'d... it's too fancy for what it is. I don't like that you can't show the deck cleanly before this.
However, the ending is very nice... and also the force is nice, I might actually start using that. Good show. 5/5
