  • Can someone explain something to me....Im taking a philosophy course right now, and studying this guy. Honestly, when it comes to philosophy of ethics, I couldnt think of a course in the world that is less important in the world. Thats just me though, to each their own. But please, for discussion sake, explain to me why you may or may not enjoy it/like it?

  • Your notion that Rawls wasn't a liberal seems strange to me, can you please explain.

  • john rawls the greatest man to ever have lived

  • go Dr. Vaughan. Damn, I miss this...

  • she seems pretty uncharismatic, i'd rather be fisting myself than be taught by her

  • I am a Morehouse graduate that took Dr, Vaughn for history of political thought. The reason she has tthe notes is because she wants to stay ON TOPIC, She is so full of information that she can go on and on about a side issue and the purpose of the lecture would be lost. I have to say the attention level of the class does give the students and the school a lack luuster appearance.

  • Rawls is the best modern philosopher. He had great liberal ideas, and understood perfectly the meaning of real justice

  • Man... most of the class look like they are hiding behind the 'veil of ignorance'. Rawls, like many political liberals, fails to account for the difference between 'the good' and 'the fair'. Also, the over emphasis on the rational fails to allow for those members of our society for whom rationality is not possible (ie children).
