  • This is a beautiful thing. I gave up competing because of the idiotic rewarding of high scores for rollkur. Will do a little more homework and you'll likely be hearing from me about classes. It's plain to see that your animals are much happier wearing nothing than wearing a double. Good job, well done.

  • what does NHE stand for in english?

  • @whitiewolfdemon Nevzorov Haute Ecole. Haute Ecole is one term used to describe dressage; "higher teaching" is a rough translation.

  • Karyn - That might just be poor video quality. Perst (the horse he was riding) was, however, initially trained with tradiational methods (By Alexander) the others, were not. Could just be an older clip. :)

  • @talistur

Want to see how clear the pictures are and then judge for yourself? Look very clear and he doesn't look a whole lot younger to me.

  • 2:10 looks good =)

  • R u the rider Sky??

Man how can u do this??

I am training my horse at the moment and would love some tips!!!

  • So what is that hanging from the horses mouth at :48 while th horse is rearing? Looks like a bit and reins to me.

  • Bother me? No. It does bother me that so many people are so gullible to buy into his crap and believe him without question. The same kind of people are the ones that keep infomercials (sp) on the air and in business.

I knew you would pipe in sooner or later defneding this con.

  • wtf if u look its a rope around the horses neck thats all hes got on. man u are stupid.

  • I asked a question, I did not make a positive statement. Do you know the differance? That alone makes me wonder about your intellectual abilities.

I have pictures of him riding with the cordeo and a bridle. So, knowing that he uses a bit to train the horse to respond to the cordeo I think my question wasnot to far off base.

  • I wasn't refering to the CORDEO around the horses neck.

  • Yes, this is really horse man ship! But why have the horses one the movies never they ears forward?

  • That's not a sign of aggression, but mostly it's a sign of concentration and attention. The ears are focused on the man standing on the ground/rider. When a horse is really putting some effort in his work, they mostly flatten their ears. Just take a good look when their running out in the pasture, most of the time you can see the ears lying flat. Compare that again with a aggresive picture. See the difference about flat ears in a concentrated way and aggresive way?

  • @Sky212 : i think they are listening to the man! when im sitting on my horse and say anithing to it, then the ears arent forward. its listening to me!

  • @Sky212 Oh, cool :D

  • they put their ears back when playing, listening to the rider or focusing on a difficult task too :P

  • @ThePippers They are making a physically tense exercise, things that demand concentration of both mind and body.

Besides, it is completely ridiculous to pay attention to nothing else in horse body language except "ears back". It's like reading a book when you know half of the alphabet - you will understand nothing...

  • that's real horsemanship... amazing!

  • 2:23 to 2:25..LOL.. Horse looks like it wants so bad to pounce on this guy.. I don't know how I feel about this guy and his training yet.. I'll have to investigate.. I do like the classical dressage masters so I'll see what this guy is like...

  • Having been in the horse world for most of my life, I've seen so much of what humans are willing to do to horses in pursuit of a dollar or an inlation of the ego. It led me to the place where I'm just glad to be able to keep a commitment of care to my own little herd. My hopes are in people like Nevzorov, that those who relate to horses in our future will do so with respect, honor and genuine love for the species and all that they give us.

  • Is he available to teach horses? Or rather, teach owners, to teach horses? I've wanted to do NHE since the day I saw it, and it kills me to not be able to do it -- I just don't want to attempt something that'd be 'wrong' (but then, what can be worse than a bit and spurs, right?)

  • You seem to be on the right way

Go to his site, join the forum (and probably then school) but explain all your relationsto horses and equestrian sport, all what you are going to achieve and manage with your horse.

but be prepared to accept and learn MANY things, anatomy in perfection - first...

  • Since your comment, actually I joined the school/forums, and have been reading as much NHE as I could get my hands on. I'm surprised at how I've come, but I think...I, to some degree, understand what he's teaching.

I've gone on teaching my own horses, bitless, shoeless, and so fourth, and can report nothing other than success - and this is in the case of 2 abused rescue horses. Fancy that. :)

  • APPY HAPPY HAPPY FOR YOU!! :D

  • this is amazing

  • What is the title of the music please and the artist?

  • Enya & Enigma - Matrix theme

  • why are my comments always erased ??? you do not want people to know the truth about this guy

  • You can tell what you want, but please don't use any awfull and nasty language. Thanks

  • Thank you, sky, for the postage of the movie clips. I watched the whole entire movie with my dad. It moved us both to the core. He told me when he was a young shepard back in Kazackstan where he was born he'd use use only cordeo, nothing else was necessery. Up until I watched the movie I couldn't understand why my dad was so upset with horse racing and equestrian sport. He'd say that horse is ment to be our compenion, helper and friend and never an object of making money. Now I know why :)

  • whats a cordeo?

  • Nice vid :) But what is the name of song? I'll be pleased..

  • To view the photos vists Freewebs dot com slash nevzorovhauteecole

  • This is absolutely beautiful, I will surely do NHE with my horse when I get him, and Sky212, may I ask who you are on the NHE school (username)?

  • these vids are incredible, just shows how much can be done with nh, i had no idea and this is influencing the way i train and teach-thanks! am a bit confused by the 2 riding vids with comments disabled, doesn't seem to be your sytle?!

  • Nevzorov NEVER uses Natural Horsemanship as it is. He uses his OWN methods teaching horses through trust, love, absence of punishments and .... GAMES with them. IN game the horse develops its natural energy, wit, all its hot temper (hot tempered horses are better to teach and work with, however it needs definite skills and knowledge..)

Try to study the materials on his site... perhaps a lot of that you will find incredible :)

  • thanks, i did get a message explaining this but i obviously didn't quite link it all right! will certainly go on to the website, i'm working with a 'hot horse' at the mo, my skills in the methods used are none existant at present! but at least i can learn and be influenced in my own methods

  • :-)

  • Good job Sky! I always enjoy your videos!

  • Thanks, I really tried my best with this one.
