I cannot understand the New term ELECTABLES by PTI?. It means selecting the same Corrupt people to win the seats and get into the Parliament?. Maybe in center cities he can afford that risk but if you look at the formation of constituencies, every city town is joined with a number of villages and the village vote easily outnumbers the city vote. you have to get someone of influence to stand in election in most constituencies. And giving ticket to 'youth' is rubbish concept. Is a young fresh graduate ever made Manager in a company straight away? Never.

I have been thinking about making a FAQ page regarding PTI because these questions are asked again and again. Specially questions regarding MQM are extremely simple. those regarding new entries in PTI have a bit of compromise (hinted in last reply) but what should really be seen is whether the compromise is to achieve the purpose or on the purpose itself

Imran Khan have selected Fauzia Kasuri as the women head of PTI. How come owner of Beacon House schools will bring free education in Pakistan when they themselves are the main benefactor. In Musharraf regime Beacon house became Asia's largest chain of Private schools while No Public schools were opened that time. PTI's vision is now blurred for me. I am still a fan of PTI but many doubts came in my mind and no PTI worker can clear these ambiguities.

Watched the whole. Faisal indeed has some great points but I'll try to answer to an extent.
1. He himself said Imran Khan is a naik, bhala (honest) man who has good intentions.
2. People say it is better to take the "democratic way" and not the "revolution kind of thing like Egypt etc.
3. Can he win alone? or with unknown people? NO
4. Our politics is dirty. We all know what. There are seasoned people, some better or worse but most are dirty.

Don't be disheartened fellow Imran Khan supporters (incl. Mr. Alvi), Qureshi was just a better debator.
Too many holes in Faisal's arguements to count. It is cool to be anti-PTI right now. Ironically, the people who can make a difference (like Qureshi) are sitting on the sidelines whining about opportunists being...opportunists.
It's a shame that prominent people like qureshi are excluding themselves from a one-time-in-30-year event when people have gravitated to an anti-status-quo voice.

I cannot understand the New term ELECTABLES by PTI?. It means selecting the same Corrupt people to win the seats and get into the Parliament?. @terazillian You asked how he is Naik, by my understanding one who is good to people in Islam is considered as a good person. So I gave examples from his excellent social work. The argument was never about being called a leader. Kindly refrain from trying to put your words in my mouth. Concerning leadership, on party and social level his leadership has been fine even with some mistakes. Leadership once in power has yet to be judged. He is sensible/honest and will do better than the other lot.

and what is the use of speaking against MQM? last time Imran spoke against MQM was 12May and 10 PTI workers wound up dead in Karachi. He pursued there case in London to no avail. Also the selection of Zaheer Khokhar as a senior PTI member and Mian Azhar have disappointed me a lot. Maybe in center cities he can afford that risk but if you look at the formation of constituencies, every city town is joined with a number of villages and the village vote easily outnumbers the city vote. you have to get someone of influence to stand in election in most constituencies. And giving ticket to 'youth' is rubbish concept. Is a young fresh graduate ever made Manager in a company straight away? Never.

I have been thinking about making a FAQ page regarding PTI because these questions are asked again and again. Specially questions regarding MQM are extremely simple. those regarding new entries in PTI have a bit of compromise (hinted in last reply) but what should really be seen is whether the compromise is to achieve the purpose or on the purpose itself

Imran Khan have selected Fauzia Kasuri as the women head of PTI. How come owner of Beacon House schools will bring free education in Pakistan when they themselves are the main benefactor. In Musharraf regime Beacon house became Asia's largest chain of Private schools while No Public schools were opened that time. PTI's vision is now blurred for me. I am still a fan of PTI but many doubts came in my mind and no PTI worker can clear these ambiguities.
