@ffe224 From a superficial "on paper" point of view it is but if you look at the engineering, it isn't overrated because their engineers really thought out of the box for this one instead of going for the cliche approach. Think about it: who can put 552hp into a 4.8 N/A and make it weight like a V6? and that's just a sample. Factor in Toyota's 1st attempt at supercar, better build quality, and driver satisfaction/feel, it deserves its praise and price (ppl who drove/drive it don't care).

@klm356100 Honda has a 3.4 litre V8 NA engine that is detuned to 500hp for the super gt racing series 500hp class, and it sounds way more like an F1 engine than the LFA. Check out the honda hsv-010. high powered NA engine, u cant beat Honda. Yamaha are a very close second to honda, but still not better

@hypasheep I'm well aware that Honda is better with high hp N/A engines than Toyota and I'm aware of the HSV. However HSV is not yet a road going car so can't be in the equation yet. Sure I wouldn't be surprised if it was indeed better given how good the S2000 and the NSX's motor was and because cars get better as time goes on. However Honda engines do lack torque.

Both gtr and lfa turn heads, but what normal person can afford an lfa now a days. Just save for a 2012 gtr, theyr faster than lfa. That vid where they raced them both they used the 09 or 10 gtr the 480hp ones. New ones are equipped with about 530. And the lfa beat the 09 gtr by what like a car, half a car?.. lol... When you buy the lfa you buy it for looks not performance.

@ffe224 You buy LFA for both performance and driving experience. Driving a RWD/NA is much more fun and more natural than a 4WD/turbo with all the excessive electronic aids that the GTR has which makes it feel too artificial as though the car is driving you. Toyota can easily make a GTR equivalent if they wanted but they chose to build a driver-focused car. It's not hard for them to simply use 4WD, turbo and electronics but 4.8 N/A v10 with 550hp = amazing engineering.

Oh, and to show everyone I''m not against Japanese cars. I do like the Honda HSV-010 GT and NSX GT FR Hybrid. Of course, those are racetrack vehicles. I also need to clarify something. I'm not against electronics in vehicles. I'm against an excessiveness of them. I don't mind maybe 6 sensors on a car to tell me genuinely important stuff. But when they start putting sensor in cars just to have sensors when it doesn't need them, then it becomes a problem.

Good Grief! I hate this generation of cars(if you can call them "cars"). I call them computers on wheels(aka drive-by-wire BS). The driver isn't even driving. The computer/sensors are and that to me equals a boring driving experience. On top of that, if something goes wrong with the senors/computer, it can cause unnecessary wear on the mechanical portions of the vehicle. If the LFA is worth $375k, the ECM and sensors have better be damn near bulletproof.

The best part is, there is no electronics to mess with the engine or tranny. Its a straight hardcore machine(simpler is better) Oh, and here is something to think about. The LFA has a CF body with a V10 engine in it, but yet is a only do 202mph? Seems underpowered to me for what you get.

This car is about $150,000-200k overpriced. It's a great car but the ZR1 performs better for 1/3 of the price and you would really have to be obsessed with JDM to pick this over an SLS or R8. Nice looking car, but the price is spec'd WAY out of its class.

Also, you're correct however the Enzo has a pedigree and racing heritage behind it that the Lexus will never have. People are buying Ferraris for their heritage, not their reliability or record breaking performance.
