@MovingUpp, Heating is easy for us. Electric cars have plenty of waste heat that can be repurposed. In our case, we do just that. The waste heat is used to warm the interior. If more heat is needed, electric grid heaters can be used. Cooling is the hard part. We have looked at a couple of options. But so far everything we have looked at has been a gluten for power. Power is at a premium so we have to be very cautious of what we use. I guess we are just going to have to invent something.
@UrbeeCar You could apply some kind of an air intake connected to a turbocharger. Of course you wouldn't be using the turbocharger in it's traditional sense but to compress air and allow it to expand inside the car cabin thus cooling it rapidly. Looks like a really unique project!

are you guys proud of yourself ? it's doing max of 110 kph, did you considerd that NO ONE drives their car only in the city ? so now imagine loads of your crappy car capping the traffic and ultimately PISSING EVERYBODY OFF !!
@UrbeeCar this urbees max speed is 2 mph short of the legal max limit in the UK so i'm cool with it. the people who buy this are looking for an economic car and its pretty obvious that driving fast is uneconomic. Can't wait to hear more about this car
@blindpl07 Ok then, how what kind of alternate solution do you have to curb city traffic congestion and air pollution? Have you any idea of the average speed in the city? Do you actually have a driving licence? I guess you are totally blind on the problems generated today by petrol engine powered car on public health and the economy of your country. You are totally dissrespectfull on the hard work some people are doing in order to improve your shitty life!
This project has been a series of high highs and low lows. Its been a long road of dips and bumps. The result of this route we have taken to get this project off the ground is that our support, and suspension, is getting better and stronger with every turn. ... thanks for checking in plasmadis.
You can use excess heat from the electric motors to cool the car the same way a propane fridge/freezer uses the heat from the propane ..

@UrbeeCar hm. Maybe people who live in areas with terrible temperatures will just not be able to use your vehicle.
