  • It's too bad that Keely's arrangers never featured the upper register of her voice more often - there is an obvious Streisand-esque quality on her high notes.

  • Man... Listen to that arrangement..Nelson Riddle sure had those writing chops well in place...Did someone say perfection ??? Well,,,with Keely Smith... is about where it`s at.!!

  • CATMAN, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT{S} HERE IN BRINGING MS. SMITHS WONDERFUL TALENT TO THE WORLD!!! THANKS FOR SO MANY TERRIFIC POSTS OF KEELY SMITH! TOM D.

  • @doowopman49 I'm glad that you seem to appreciate her as much as I do.

  • Nelson Riddle could almost make me sound good !

  • I love Keely Smith and her Southern accent especially the "I"s and her Virginia way of pronouncing words like "about" and "house". Today vocal coaches would tell her she would have to change that. This girl can really sing too, and she was so funny with Louis. The best thing Louis Prima ever did was to discover Keely Smith!

  • Thank You, Jonathan Schwartz/WNYC!

  • lovely rendition ....

  • Let's see now. Great song + Keely Smith +Nelson Riddle = (All equations should be this simple.) perfection. Thank you, Catman.

  • You get an A+, alpha3327.
