I think I heard him be pretty close to probably nodding out onstage a couple of times toward the very end when he was just basically present but pick up a Martin and try to play the licks he is pulling off with no effort then tell us how is is about to nod out. These guitars are like fretting a fence! LOL! Kids these days. Miss you Jer! Thanks for giving us your life!

@wobbly585 Back in the mid '70's garcia was turned on to what he was told was opium,but the problem with that was it was not opium but an extremely pure form of heroin, and with an addictive person like jerry it was the beginning of a long road of smoking persian. It is a nasty,nasty jones to deal with,it is sooo much easier to keep doing it than it was to stop. Trying to stop a habit of persian is one of the hardest things to do. Trust me on that. My advice is do not start!!!!!!!!!!!

He is one of my fav entertainers EVER, but this preformance just straight SUCKED. Some of you need to actualy listen instead of automatically saying the music was great just cause Jerry played it. Damn I hate heroin!!!!!! No really I love it,but fuck!! Look what it does to you! I know that everyone is lovin' this video,but in all honesty, Jerry's nodding out throughout the whole song.This is so sad! That shit killed him,and countless other human treasures,but we still have to see it for ourselves,and there are only a few endings to a heroin addiction! I believe that his worst habits were cocaine, cigarettes, sugar and never moving around except on stage. He did a lot of coke as I understand it. The heroin kept him from feeling the physical pain of everything else he was doing.

What a SWEET TREAT! My Home State too! Thanks man for posting this. I always love to see Jerry on acoustic. This is one of my fav songs...top 10 anyways. I wish I could find the Philly 3-19-95 of So many roads...IMO the best ever of that song. I have worn that tape out! LOL This Masterpiece was KILLER! Peace and Love
