The police dispatcher has control of that security camera (which is said to have such high quality footage that you can count freckles). During the savage beating, the police dispatcher actually zoomed in on the event- THIS IS FOOTAGE WE DEMAND.

I find it interesting that if you stand by and do nothing when a crime happens...like say 6 large armed thugs beating a homeless mentally disabled person to death..you can be charged under the "good samaritan law" for not taking action. Juries usually condone transgressions committed by law enforcement officers...if it even makes it that far.
I suspect the root cause for LE aggressiveness is their militarized training...but I guess it could be the personality of those attracted to the field.

These police officers are not unaccountable. They answer to the citizens who's taxes fund their salary. The saddest thing is, apart from the brutality of these animalistic pigs, there are a multitude of factors that contribute to this incident. The homeless man featured in this report is schizophrenic, and should have been medicated and in a mental institution, rather than on the streets and susceptible to such disgusting brutality.

Thank you for airing this. The footage that most are awaiting is the security camera that is mounted right there by the train station (which is where the beat down occured). The police dispatcher has control of that security camera (which is said to have such high quality footage that you can count freckles). During the savage beating, the police dispatcher actually zoomed in on the event- THIS IS FOOTAGE WE DEMAND.

Thomas' father, Ron Thomas, said the announcement that the officers had been placed on leave came a few hours after he met with the chief Tuesday afternoon.
Nevertheless, at an overflowing City Council meeting Tuesday night, dozens of people called for the chief's resignation over the incident.
One of those officers is possibly Jay Cicinelli. A man claiming to work with Cicinelli says that the officer bragged in the police station lockerrom about beating Thomas.

if the poor man killed a cop in cold blood(or at all) he would get charged with capital murder and get the death penalty. These cops may get a few years in jail(if that) and loose their jobs then go on with their lives. What the hell makes a cops life more valuable then this guys?? Don’t get me wrong I support our P.D(not this one) but I think that everyone should have the same rules and charges!

Military can't fire upon somebody without being fired upon first. These cops are killing and beating citizens likes its the wild west. It should be a requirement that all police officers should have military experience to be a cop. I served 4 years in the Marines and if somebody is out of line you'll have several fellow Marines the next rank up checking your ass. Bigger trouble if the platoon Sgt finds out. These cops have no honor and don't see it as a privilege to serve the community.
