Unions are important in the evolution of the "labor economy". They should be flourishing in China, North Korea,and Cuba .But, they are not. The reason is the parasite has to keep the host alive. In modern (free) economies, the parasite kills the host unless the government protects them. Therein lies the reality. Read the US constitution. The private sector IS rebooting! That's where ALL the job creation is happening. We have net positive job growth every month, despite a steady loss of government jobs, and that's because of the private sector. I like the path Obama's putting us on. He's getting us out of this recession quicker than McCain or any viable Republican candidate would have.
