Global warming is the process when the suns rays come through the atmosphere and hit the earth. In the past light rays bounced back going into the atmosphere and the earth remained cooler. Now with co2 and airpollution the rays get traped in the atmosphere. as well as the heat they produce. Deforestation amplifies this problem because trees absorb Co2. Based on coor samples from the ice co2 levels are 25 percent higher than they have ever been in 650,000 years.
