  • Did the USAD just fire a Hellfire missile at Louis Pasteur?

  • @SUMD123 "Watch for the silly french man!" Well he did come out at them with a flamethrower... lol

  • "...there. Now clean this off and, uh...(clears throat)...and this is ready to go in the oven now..."

  • NOOO! THE FOOD POLICE BLEW UP A HISTORICAL FIGURE!

  • "It puts the bucket in the bucket" Now that's funny.

  • Fruit, Alton! Fruit is meant for animals to eat and then poo out the seeds!

And so is nectar! Nectar is meant for animals to eat and then in the eating get covered in pollen so they can enable plant sex!

    YOU ARE WRONG! :O

  • @Zidana123 actually honey is used for feeding bee larva.

  • @BioBuster4492 That too!

    ALTON IS WRONG! >:O

  • @Zidana123 Technically. Yet Alton can do no wrong in my eyes. I have the hugest celeb crush on him.

  • @BioBuster4492 Wait! That's not right! >>:O

Bee larvae are fed primarily on pollen, because pollen is primarily protein and the larvae need protein to grow. Honey is made primarily of sugar, and it's what the adult bees eat during winter. Queen bees lay eggs throughout the spring, summer, and fall, but when winter comes and the honey is eaten, egg production stops.

  • "It puts the bucket in the bucket." hahahahahahah

  • Haha, the milkman was funny. Don't know what he was doing at Alton's house though, since I don't think there's a Mrs. Brown.

  • @mushroomcloudy It's called "The milkman is having an affair with the wife."

  • @mushroomcloudy

AB Not only is married but has at least two daughters I believe.

  • Someone should make a Louis Pasteur model for the Pyro in TF2.

  • he's like the bill nye of food :) i love it

  • milk please "holding glass at the computer"

  • AB's invisible wife is cheating with the milk man?! OK girls, I say we take her out behind the invisible barn and teach her a lesson! (Nobody does that to our Alton) :D

  • @kayt2 lol XD cuute

  • man he totally butchered that gay unicorn painting.

  • One nice thing about being a white guy in the Southwest is that you can finagle a LOT of delicious Mexican desserts from your Hispanic friends and they're only too happy to show the gringo what's what!

  • @SimuLord I'm with you, ese.

  • I really can't stand him saying tres leche wrong!!! x( oh well he's the best still even tho he still says that wrong ~X(

  • *puts fingers close to mouth* ,*stares at camera*, *pouts* , *puts fingers down*. poor alton...

  • Im speakin as a Latino when i say NO! Trez Leches is form south of the border not the U.S.

  • @2TailedKitsune88 He said North America not the United States of America

  • I thought that AB said in the yogurt show that he was lactose intolerant!

  • @pibeagles There are different levels of lactose intolerance. You might be able to handle a cup (more or less) before it starts hurting :)

  • Alton brown's wife is having an afffair with the milk man.

  • Silence of the Lambs reference! LOL!

  • "Trayz?" WTF? Alton is the man, but he needs to work on his Spanish.

  • @snidelywhiplash He's not speaking Spanish, you dumb fuck.

  • @awesome220 : Enlighten me, O great one. What language do you think "Tres Leches" is?

  • @snidelywhiplash It's spanish, but we use it in English. So when alton uses it he is speaking english, not spanish, so it does not matter that he does not pronunce it the 'spanchish' way.

  • squashing the cake into the milk gets me every time!

    i want that cake :(

  • When I was a little girl I used to do what he did to the cake slice at 5:56 to cupcakes. But now I know how to make tres leche cake so I don't need to do that anymore! LOL

  • i tought he said BasteredERd at first but then he said baster!!! 02:47 - 02:50

  • @taborgate Not all measuring cups are made equal. Plastic ones, especially, can warp making them less accurate. Weight is simply more accurate. And since Alton is all about the science it makes sense.

  • Sugar grains settle differently every time they are measured out, saying 8 oz makes it exactly the same every time.

  • This guy adds unsalted butter to stuff then adds salt.

why not just add salted butter?

  • because salted butter has too much salt.

  • @Klinkster68 Because you can't remove salt from salted butter. You can easily remove salt from unsalted butter, just by... not adding salt...

  • He wants to control exactly how much salt goes into the dish. In salted butter, the salting is less exact. That's all.

  • Beacuse more or less salt differnt kinds of salt

  • i liked the painting he ruined irs so said

  • i gess im the only one who dosent like tres leches.

  • @schoolgurl21

What a horrible life you must live. :(

  • i dont know why i dont like it, i have a big sweet tooth so its a mystery why i dont like it.

  • same for me i dont like it i have a big sweet tooth too same mystery as why i dont like cheese cake

  • Not liking cheesecake is easy to explain. Most of the time, it is made with cream cheese.

  • Gosh! I cannot stand the way he says Tres Leche cake. Awful!!! But still love AB

  • @heatherjgarc28 i really can't stand that either!! x(

  • @heatherjgarc28 He's also not good at pronouncing hamburger and greasy

  • Great quality

  • either way it's mmm mm good.

  • Good Eats!!

  • He murdered that cake slice... MURDERED! :(

  • @AkashiXI The cake is a lie. Murder it like you did GLaDOS

  • Wow, butchered french

  • I mostly just pay attention to the sciency parts

  • I've actually gotten a few questions on tests right in school because of science stuff I've learned from this show

  • i know me too!

    especially science

  • same here

  • I wish I had started watching this show more before I took college Biology. I never would have missed that question on starch molecules and fat molecules.

  • it is possible to get away with drinking unpasturized milk, live on a farm Duh!!!

  • LMAO @ "It put's the bucket in the bucket!"

  • i definitely love Tres Leches Cake(even though we made it from a box)!!!

  • @tatsumaru716 Is that why you spelled his name wrong?

  • I LOVE THIS MAN! X)

  • ditto.

    I love this show..

  • His mixer is sooo badass xD

  • I love how many pop culture references Good Eats uses, and they're usually subtle so it makes you laugh when you find one.

  • Loved the part where the milkman comes to the door with a bouquet of flowers, clearly expecting Mrs. Brown, but instead comes face to face with the husband. Alton Brown you sly dog!

  • "What's with the silly Frenchman?"

  • Louis Pasteur = pasteurization

  • at least its not the MAD FRENCH CHEF

  • Lol... put the bucket in the bucket! 2:37

  • u missed the "it" reference to silence of the lambs! "it puts the bucket in the bucket"

  • "he likes pina coladas & walks in the sand"

  • Oh my GOD! They killed Louie PAsteur; you bastards!

  • Hahahaaaa! Epic win.

  • lol! he dunks the cake in the cup! lol!

    this is my favorite show!

  • When I eat cake I usually pour milk on it like it's cereal.

  • lol

  • you are the 2nd greatest person ever

    ( first is alton)

  • Hate to copy another user who hosts this stuff ... but i like the hat.

  • Franco-American relations aren't what they used to be. Gets me every time.

  • Darn those food police are good.

  • *MR.* Brown. LMAO hilarious.

  • That really made me laugh. XD

  • Do people say "FIRST COMMENT!!1!!11!1!" to annoy people, 'cause if they are, they're pretty successful.

  • I'm making the "Tres Leche Cake" for my birthday on the 23'd.. I hope it's good! :D

  • It's amazing, I made one a couple weeks back using his recipe and it was well worth it.

As AB always says, your patience will be rewarded.

  • I think alot of people are lactose intolerant are actually pasteruization intolerant. I can drink raw milk and not get sick. Pasteruized milk sends me straight to the loo! *barf*

  • um...I think something else about the pasteurized milk is making you sick. Have you asked your doc about that? And it mostly is lactose intolerance, unhappily enough, for millions of people--they lack the enzyme lactase (it breaks down lactose into galactose and glucose) after childhood, and they become lactose intolerant. It's nothing to do with the pasteurization process. Do you drink pasteurized milk from cows treated with rBGH? BST? Other hormones? Those could be making you sick.

  • Um, interesting theory but I think the process of pasteurisation itself breaks down the natural enzymes that are normally in the milk that would otherwise help to digest it. The pasteruised milk I used to drink did NOT have rBGH or BST so I don't think it was a reaction to hormones.

  • who gives a shit

  • Seconded.

  • Damn right!

  • I HATE people who say "first comment dur"
