This makes me wonder if Gordon went to aperture and had his HEV suit and alot of batteries, and glados tried to kill him with neurotoxin. The best guess is the suit would detect the neurotoxin in his blood stream and administer the antidote all Gordon would have to do is not get hurt by bullets. And we all can assume that the suit cant be emancipated, and maybe the grav gun cant either. I think that because those were the two things that didn't get disintegrated at the citadel.

Terrifying poison headcrabs? Oh, you mean the aggressive medpacks, I remember those. They'd seek you out to make sure you where at full health, it was very considerate of them.

If you're creeping around a level and you hear a tiny whistle or squeak, you can tell there's a poison headcrab hiding around and trying to lure you in to looking for it. I hated these little bastards, especially with the s-mod's AI redux fix. For those of you wondering, it was a fix I commissioned that took a few months. Poison headcrabs now have a higher leap range and will jump away at the first jolt of the gravity gun. Have fun with the standard shock'n'lock now.

There's one ammo cache in HL2 where you pick the ammo and once you turn around there's a poison headcrab zombie standing silently behind you. I'm pretty sure I had to buy a new pair of pants

Everyone goes on about how scary these things are; to me, the really lost their fangs once I noticed that they take a full 3 seconds to pounce, and it only takes 1 second to sprint up and crowbar them for a one-hit kill. Plus, the Gravity Gun stunlocks them! Monsters just aren't scary once their AI gets caught in a loop

Half Life and Half Life 2 are some of the few games that scared the shit out of me. I was never able to play through Half Life 2 thanks these crabs. They literally scared me so much that I would hit "escape" anytime I heard or saw one and wasn't brave enough to unpause the game to have to face them again. They are probably the most terrifying enemy in any video game ever. Hell just watching this vid freaked me out some.

Haha, good times. I remember playin H2 and i developed a real phobia about poison headcrabs. It has nothing to do with the fact that they reduce your health to 1. I dont know if it is for the shrieks they make, the way they look or the way they move. Probably a combination of all. Funny is, i am not afraid of the other types of headcrabs. Im not even afraid of spiders. But these guys....thank god they dont exist in real life...ill be shitting myself

A poison headcrab can only bring you down to 1 Hp, no matter how many times it bites you. That's why you usually find them with other headcrabs (who will then bite off your last 1Hp), or on their trusty Poison Zombie, who will claw you to death.
