just bought a 76 gmc yesterday. 400 small block, sat for 10 years. i bypassed the fuel tank, changed the oil and that mfer ran like a lexus.

thats just what happend with my 86 that hasent been on the road since 99...but i later found out that the gas tank had some holes in it...but fixed that now..got to love chevy trucks.......

I got me a '76 jimmy without the camper. Was my fathers and when he died it just sat there for ten years... Added some gas, batterie and cleaned out the carb and she started right up... I love that thing... use it as a daily driver now... =]

yeah i got a 67 gmc truck that im goin to get running soon its been sitting since 1980 but all it needs is a carb and its got only 98000 original miles

thats AWESOME dude. no joke. mine sat for about a total of 6 years in its life but was fixed after sitting for 4, then i recently got it after it had sat for 2. fired RIGHT up. alls i did was replace the battery. and bam. i love GM already.
