Thanks for watching and for your interest in Bible prophecy. The term "Jews" came from a shortened form of "Judah" during the Babylonian captivity around 586 BC. After the return of Israel from that captivity the word became synomous with all 12 tribes. Notice in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah all 12 tribes are accounted for after the captivity. Paul in Roman 2 also uses the term "Jew" in reference to all Israel.

Thanks for watching my video. The 144,000 is not the same as the Great Multitude, that's like saying 10 is the same as 1,000. The 144,000 are from the 12 tribes of Israel, while the Great Multitude is from all over the world. The 144,000 are seal for protection, the Great Multitude is not. The 144,000 are called servants, the Great Multitude is not.
Most of what John wrote is not symbolic. Symbols in the Bible are always consistently explained in the Bible
@andrewferrier Apocalyptic is symbolic. Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and SIGNIFIED it by his angel unto his servant John:.SIGNIFIED comes from the Greek word meaning-To speak in signs and symbols. Everything the angel spoke to John was symbolic. The 144,000 is the symbol of the great multitude, thats why John only hears the angel say the number, then looks and sees great multitude
@andrewferrier Exactly I have no idea who people can read his and say the church is the 12 tribes of Israel that are still scattered all around the world.
The 144,000 is not the Church. The Church will be raptured off of this earth before the start of the 7 year tribulation (Rev.3:10). The 144,000 are Jewish people who become believers in Jesus at the start of the 7 years, they will be God's witnesses during that time.
@andrewferrier The church is not the remnant of Jacob. There is no where in scripture that says the church has replaced the 12 tribes of Israel. Not all Israelites are Jews; Jews only come from the Southern Kingdom of Judah- Jews (Judeans or Judahites)
@andrewferrier You need to read Romans 11:1-2 1) I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the Tribe of Benjamin. 2) God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. This does not refer to the church but the seed of Abraham. The church is not the seed of Abraham.
andrewferrier. Do you see the importance of Christians leaving a great Christian impression on all who we meet. Imagine after the rapture the left behind will be grasping for anything that their loved one who is now gone did or said. Imagine the daughter who was on the fence and left behind comiing home from school and the parents are gone. Wouldn't it be great if Mom and Dad left a DVD or a letter to explain everything. Do you see what I am saying.
I have been thinking about this a lot. it is only common sense that our loving Christ would give a second chance to people knowing there will STILL be those who reject him. Your video clears thing up for me and it sounds like you have done your homework,
One MAJOR ERROR amongst many christians is this, the idea that Jesus Chrsit is going to "Rapture the church. He is going to gather his elect, his chossen ones. The Gospel of LUKE tells us this... [34] I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. [35] Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."
Thanks. The Church is raptured before the trib. according to II Thes. 2:1, I Thes. 1:9, 5:4, and in Rev.3:10 Jesus says to the Church they will be delivered from the "hour of testing" which is the trib.
Rev.14 is not the rapture, it is a harvest of the souls of men in death who are killed in the trib. The mark comes in the middle of the trib giving the 144,000 plenty of time to evangelize, especially those who refuse the mark later in the trib.
One more question please because I still see a timing issue for Rev. 7:9. The antichrist will force everyone in the whole world to take the mark. Wouldn't this have to come before wars break out which is before the midway point....during the time of pace when the antichrist has authority over the whole earth. But even if it is 3.5 years, that's a whole lot of Saints in Rev. 7:9 to account for during a time when people will die if they convert.
There's a huge problem with saying the 144k are evangelists. Firstly, all the Bible says is they're sealed, it doesn't say anything about them being evangelists. Secondly, after people are required to take the mark of the beast, who will the 144k evangelize to? They won't evanglize to those without the mark because they will already be saved (which is why they refused the mark). Those with the mark (all the unsaved) can't be saved after they have taken it. So not them either.
Thanks for your comment. Revelation 7:9 speaks of a vast multitude coming to faith in the tribulation, no doubt hundreds of millions.. Since the church is raptured before the tribulation this leaves the 144,000 as God's witnesses and evangelist during the 7 year tribulation.
The Mark of the beast is not until the middle of the tribulation and while many will take the mark, not all will as evidence by the many who are beheaded during the tribulation.
Rev. 7:9 is probably the Church as depicted as at least going through a portion of the tribulation. The rapture actually happens here I believe, in Rev. 14:14-16, right before the bowl judgments, and that's exactly why theres such a great multitude depicted in Rev. 7:9 and elsewhere. All unbelievers will get the mark and evangelism will be purposeless after that. Theres not enough time for the 144k to convert that many. Rev. 16:2: no saints because rapture just occurred.
@7777Ralph What if they don't have to take the mark until after the 3.5 years are over? You see how if you take a Pre-Trib stance it doesn't really make sense? Why would the Rapture happen before those who claim to be on Jesus' side have a chance to prove their loyalty? But if we take a Mid-Trib position, it's easy to understand how after 3.5 years of deception the anti-Christ suddenly reveals his true form & then commences persecuting all who are left who didn't believe in Jesus...
I've was pre-trib and mid-trib for years. However, I'm personally convinced now the Rapture takes place at the time of Jesus second coming at the end of the tribulation.
@Asxhmoula I think what you are all forgetting is when Christ returns, that is it. 2 Peter 3:10 For the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which THE HEAVENS WILL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE EARTH WILL MELT WITH A FERVENT HEAT. There is nothing secret about the rapture, and it is Post-Trib. He who endures to the end shall be saved.
so if im not jewish, i cant be saved?

Thanks for watching. The 144,000 Jewish evangelist will lead millions of gentile (non-Jews) to faith in Jesus during the tribulation period.

@andrewferrier All of the 12 Tribes of Israel aren't Jewish. Only 2 Tribes are Jews: Judah and Benjamin

Hi Mike,
Thanks for watching, yes I agree. I know the "Left Behind" series has a DVD you can buy to leave behind after the rapture. Andy
