i strongly disagree with your #1 choice i think lavitz should have been #1 because he made such a huge impression on ppl and was only iin the first part of a four disc game!!!

They put Gordon Freeman's face on the Organe Box for the XBox 360 (Halflife 2, ep.1, ep.2). not sure if they did that on the PC Games or not but yea i do know what he looks like.
Gordon Freeman number one is a good call. Not a fan of the other guys too much. I've always been a fan of link. Gotta give love to Frog(Kaeru) from Chrono Trigger too. He developed from a scared sidekick of Cyrus into a great warrior that saved the world. All the while turned into a frog as well!
Uhg. Enough with the X-box babies pimping the MC. Samus has close to zero dialogue. She's cool, certainly. But seriously, you've got to have more than a cool game to make a list like that. Gears of War? That game shouldn't even exist, let along have it's testosterone pumped America-proxy heroes receive recognition. Goron Freeman, Garrett, Tommy, and JC Denton.
