This time Mark you are soooo wrong about the cat. 1000s of babies die every year just that way. The cats seek heat (growing up my cats used to sleep on the freezer as the motor was warm) and if a cat takes a liking to a young baby it will climb into their cot, just like they do in adults beds (where they see people are comfy) and seeking heat they sleep right on the babies face. It usually happens to little babies too young to move. Besides, toddlers pull tails so cats avoid them LOL.
@steveandsharnee you are VERY wrong! I have grown up around cats all my life and they do not sleep on babies faces, where do you get your information from? Mark is correct, it is an urban myth. Maybe once one cat did this but it doesn't make it a norm, the biggest danger from a cat is toxamaplosis.
