YAC determines the difference between a WR being good and a QB being Good. If a QB throws a 10 yard pass to a wide receiver and he just drops after that, thats the QB being good. But if the WR can turn that 10yard reception and use his skill to turn it into 40 yards it makes him a good WR. Anyone can catch a 2 yard reception for a touchdown not everyone can shake a corner and then beat the safeties. Andre Reed runs through linebackers.

all the throws he catches are right on the spot too.. schaub's been generous to him... fitz has to struggle in the air every single pass and he exceeds at doing that

Well no offense against Fitzy but AJ really aint had the luxury of having the NFL's best possession receiver opposite of him to take some of the pressure off him. Remember he's had Kevin Walter, an aging Eric Moulds, and Jabar Gaffney as his #2 which really aint gon scare people. But Fitzy is stll a monster, but AJ is a monster on a receiving team by his lonesome.
