Can you please tell me what type of pencils you use for ur sketching???

@unzisha well, it's a long time ago, and i can't really remember, but at that time I hadn't really realized the difference between pencils, but you should use a pencil that is in-between soft and hard. Just use the pencils you like to use, and maybe use a softer pencil to the shadows as you probably would do anyway.

Er and one more recommendation. It is important to take a good look at where the eyes are looking, and how they are actually shaped. It lends life and expression to a drawing.

That's pretty darn good! I can say that as an artist, a grid is a very useful tool for transferring an image. My only recommendation is that you focus less on perceived contours. A picture looks more realistic when you draw as you see- that is, when you shade to create a line instead of drawing one
