If it's not loose then try adjusting the tension screw. it that is not the problem the it may be a fitment issue with the adapter plate for the crossfader when placing it in the mixer. It the crossfader is loose before installation then it is the mixer itself that may be the problem. I only had issues with the crossfader being stiff when transporting the mixer in a road and using it when I take it out.For some reason the case cause pressure in the crossfader that makes it hard to move.
I had the same problem where the crossfader was really stiff due it being in the Mixer Case that I have too long. It maybe because of the crossfader not the tension screw that is making it stiff. As of right now I am not aware of any website that will show you a exact diagram on adjusting. You would just have to test it out with each setting (which is a pain) to get the feel that you are looking for. Yes insulate and make sure that the power is unplug before you start messing with the mixer
So I installed mine 3 days ago and adjusted the tension screw and etc but it's not as buttery as yours it's actually kinda stiff...feels like a stock x fader. How did u get yours that loose haha. And is there a site to go to show me how I can have the exact cross fader settings as my old 800 fader with my innofader pro? Great video glad u told me to tape/insolate my innofader pro or I may have blown circuits if I already don't!
Thanks. Let me know if you have any questions with installing but everything on the video explains everything i had to do to make sure that it was installed correctly.
thanks 4 the tutorial! I need to contact Pioneer for a new crossfaderplate, my paint is gone :p

So how did your crossfader become loose? Did it just happen over time?
