my doctor lives in a condo, and i don't think his house or his office is zoned for chickens. what would he do with a chicken? i live in a city, and by the time i drove all the way out to the country where chickens are sold, bought the chicken, a cage so it isn't flapping around in my car on the way back home and the feed and anything else i needed, i might as well just give the doctor the money. but that still wouldn't be enough. what should i do about this? i have a lot of medical debts.
The cash and barter economy is sometimes looked upon fondly by the "off the grid," tax loathing, liberty supposedly loving people. I think that she may have confused some idealist notions of innovation and doing things differently with avoidance of governmet (or big business) intrusions. Be careful what you wish for.
