Actualy its better not to do such fan mods. since the temperature sensor is only placed on the CPU, the xbox will now think the CPU is cooler than usual and will drop de origional casefans so the GPU wont get enough cooling and will overheat in a short period of time, also the motherboard will bend allitle because the temperature is not even spread.

this text above does only count when the Case fans are on the origional power socket, (No 12Volt mod as many people say), but bending will happen

@enoch723 Actually I had 2 360 elites that both got the RROD after fixing the heatsinks both lasted for about a month before getting it again I found out that the xbox's work just fine if they are not in the case and the dvd drive is not laying in its original place. I redone the whole case (pretty much put it in a PC case and added 2 fans and the xbox works great and has for over a year now. RROD means a hardware problem nothing specific

I thought fans were about 5V have you spliced them to a 12V because you have them and the intercooler both on it???

another question... could you splice another set of fans onto the power connecter that the standard Xbox Fans use??? (so i wouldnt need an extra plug and i could just have one set of fans sucking air in and one set blowing out??

dont use the intercooler. It doesn't help cool the system. It actually traps air inside the xbox.

@djwubonic its not that its "draining juice" its overclocking the fans on the inside of the actual xbox by sucking out air too fast. the red fans are fine and cool looking but the intercooler is bad for the xbox.
